Purpose of storing data

Any piece of information we store about you allows us to provide our services or make them more convenient. As an instance, cookie files improves usability of the website, contact details provided in a contact form make contact possible, newsletter subscription allows us to stay in touch.

Sharing data

First and foremost, we do not sell any of your personal data. We rely on external service providers to run our business. We share data with the following third parties, or process them with the following tools:

G Suite

We use Gmail (email service), Drive (storage service), Docs, Sheets, Forms (office suite) and other services available in G Suite.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about users visiting our websites, like device and its software details, date, time, location, IP address, list and duration of page visits, etc. This data can be correlated with the other personal information about user through advanced analytics. Also, any data submitted by website user that becomes publicly available (like a comment under an article) can be processed by Google Analytics. Other tools and third parties

In order to provide or enhance our professional services we can share your personal data with trusted partners, e.g. payment systems, advertising partners, spam scanners, web hosting providers and administrators, etc. Trusted partners may include entities from outside the European Economic Area, i.e. from the United States, who declared their compliance with the agreement concluded between the United States and the European Union, based on the decision of the European Commission dated July 12, 2016, called “The EU-US Privacy Shield”.

Third party websites

Our websites contain links to third party websites, including those running outside or European Union, who are processing your personal data in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. You should accept them upon entering those websites.

You can „follow us” or „share” content from our websites through Social Media. Please be informed that certain actions, like clicking on „share” button, can result in signing in to external website and information transfer, i.e. storing cookie file. Our website is integrated this way with Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Some of our education services require private Facebook group access that will be provided during a training.

We may obtain your personal information, once you submit a contact form, email or call us. Such data include name, second name, company name, email address, phone number. Similarly, leaving a comment results in storing your account details, like name, second name, email address, phone number, and username.

Newsletters and Webinars

Newsletter subscription and webinar subscription or registration also requires providing your personal data, like name, second name, email address, phone number, job title, company name.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

Generally speaking, the data is kept as long as necessary to fulfill contracts, and for the period specified by legal regulations like tax law.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
